We love clock radios. By the term "we" I think I use it for many people - not just the generations that actually lived and slept several feet from their particular radio. I think I also refer to all generations spanning several years as well. Many people today have never had the need for a clock radio. If "video killed the radio star" - then by all means the cell phones annihilated the alarm clock radio.
